The two year term of our State Director, Charles and Jean Newton, is
now history. If you were unable to
attend, you missed well planned, well run Samborees with great participation
and fantastic entertainment with games. and music. If you missed the
September Samboree you missed what most agree was the best in many years. The
weather was beautiful and everyone truly enjoyed being together with all of their friends.
Our Samborees have now become a large chapter get together, providing
opportunities to be with other Good Sam members
from all over the State of Georgia and surrounding States, We all truly
enjoyed the fun and fellowship. THANK YOU.... Charles and Jean
for a job well done.
Next Spring's Samboree will soon be here. It is scheduled for March
26th - 29th, 2009, at the
Georgia National Fairgrounds & Agricenter in Perry, Georgia. Mark
your calendars now and make plans to join us for another wonderful Spring
Samboree. Gas prices are on their way down and should be back to or
below 2007 prices by the time of our Samboree. If your rig gets 10 mpg
any fuel price difference can be justified for the price of a fast-food "Value-Meal".
Don't miss this opportunity to be with your friends and enjoy a wonderful
week-end with Harold and Vicki Smith at Georgia's first Samboree of the 2009
season. We again are scheduling Samgo on Wednesday night followed by fantastic Pick n Grinnin
music performance with two
professional guests to augment the show.
The 2009 Spring Samboree "Registration", application is now available on the website under the Samborees tab.
The RV Dealer and Vendor applications will soon be completed and posted to
our website. These are PDF forms that can be downloaded to your
computer and additional copies can be printed for your friends.
We look forward to seeing and meeting you all next March.
Have a wonderful Holiday Season, Be Safe and God Bless
Harold and Vicki Smith
